Please
be aware that the Heartland Humane Society does not have a
physical facility at this time, but we do have an office now!
We rely on our Foster Network to provide homes for the animals
that come under our care. We can also post lost/missing
pets & found animals on this site in hopes of finding
their owners or a new home. Feel free to contact us by
phone or by email.

"Shiloh is a happy little dog,
getting over shyness, she pretty much demands to be petted (a lot!)
She's a little sweetheart!!"
"Lacy
is doing great. I am still working on her heel skills. She was
spayed about a month ago and it never slowed her down one bit.
She and Darby are inseparable. Thank you so much for her, she
is a gift."
"Honey
is doing great, she is, or should say, has been house trained
for several weeks now. She loves to go for long walks and knows her
route to take. She is very playful both in and outside of the
house. She is still very calm and relaxed though and barks very
little unless she is excited about playing ball or someone rings the
doorbell. Thanks for letting us have her, she is a true joy
to our family"
"Sam
is very good with kids as our grandkids like to play with him alot.
He behaves and listens well. Seems to understand what we tell him
to do. Thanks for helping us find Sam and for all you do for the
pet industry. Our dog, Jasper, a Shih tzu died from old age
(15+) almost two years ago and had not had plans for another dog.
But... Sammy (Sam) is a loving and protective dog and such good
company for us and we love him dearly."
