KARMA

This sweet gray tabby cat is just over 1 year old (born around Feb 2008. She is a little timid at first, but is a very nice kitty. She likes to play with balls and loves to have her chin scratched. She is spayed, FeLV tested and all vaccinations are current. She would just like a home where she will get lots of love and someone to play with.

JASMINE

Jasmine is a beautiful Siamese mix cat with extraordinary markings and beautiful blue eyes. She is very petite and quite a well behaved cat. She is around 1 yr old and is taking up residence at our new office at 601 1/2 Burleigh, so stop in and meet her! She has been tested for FeLV/FIV and has her vaccinations all up to date. Will be spayed soon.

SOCKS

Socks was found with his sister behind the gas station in Gayville. Born around Aug 2008. He is very playful, lovable and friendly. Socks is the more laid

back of the two, where sister Yin (see bottom listing) is quite full of energy. They are typical kittens who love to run around, get into mischief, then just lay down and sleep. Socks is neutered and vaccinations up to date.

BARLOW

Barlow was found in the downtown Vermillion area on the night of 3-14-09. An owner has not been located therefore he needs to find a new home. He is a full grown male, seems to be well taken care of and is very friendly. He is not aggressive toward or afraid of other cats or dogs. Would make someone a very nice pet. Barlow is neutered, FeLV/FIV tested and all up to date on vaccinations. He will make a wonderful, loving companion.

BOB

Bob is very sweet and a bit more mellow. He has a very cute little "bob" tail, hence the name. He is neutered and all vaccinations current. Bob is a typical fun-loving, playful and affectionate kitty who would love a nice home to grow up in.

EMMA

Emma was a stray, but not feral, cat who found a kind soul that would put food out for her, then she had kittens and decided to bring them over to where the food was. Realizing that this was no life for these poor babies, HHS was called to help find good homes for them. Emma is probably around 2 yrs old. She is a very unique cat, who just likes to sit quietly by and come over for some petting once in awhile. When she wants to be petted, she will come find you and when she's done, she's done! Doesn't much like to be picked up and carried around, but does purr happily when she gets petted. Would probably be best in a home where she is the only cat, or at least where she won't be in a small space with another cat or dog. Emma is spayed and all vaccinations up to date.

JAXSON

This little cutie is Jaxson and he was born at the beginning of May, so is just a baby still. He is very sweet and very playful. He is a healthy, happy little kitten who would really love a home where he will gets lots of play time. He has had his first vaccinations so far.

DOC

Doc is the ultimate in a curious cat. He is very alert about everything and wants to know what is going on everywhere. He is very sweet and playful and lovable. Doc is probably around 1 yr old, has been tested for FeLV/FIV and has his vaccinations all up to date. He will be neutered soon and be ready for a great new home. Stop in to our new office at 601 1/2 Burleigh to see Doc. He is one of our first residents at our new building.

JOSIE

Josie is a great family cat, estimated to be around 2 yrs old. She is very friendly once she settles in and gets used to her surroundings. She is spayed and declawed, vaccinations all up to date. Josie is a very curious cat and of course, very independent as well. Josie loves to just come sit in your lap, even if you're not petting her.

MILLIE

Pretty and friendly - what more could you ask for? Millie is a very affectionate and sweet kitty who is around 1 year old. She is very petite and has beautiful long fur. Or at least it will be once it grows back in. She was found with her fur all matted up and tangled, so had to be shaved in spots in order to get the mats out. She was so patient and sweet all during that. She is a little apprehensive around other cats at first, but has now gotten used to the other kitty in her foster home. She has beautiful gold eyes that will melt your heart. Millie has been FeLV/FIV tested, has all vaccinations, and will be spayed soon. She needs a good, indoor-only home where she will gets lots of attention and pampering.

YIN

Yin (formerly known as Mittens) is funny, playful, and affectionate. It will take her three or four days to warm up to you and get used to her surroundings, but as soon as she feels comfortable she is happy to play with string, her little catnip mice, other cats, and even the dogs! She is also a loving cat who loves to sit on your lap, sleep at your feet, and purr very loudly. Yin is spayed and vaccinations current

GINGER

Little Ginger is a bit shy at first, but quickly warms up when you offer her a nice lap to sit in. She was born in Aug '08, so around 8 months old now. She has had her vaccinations and FeLV test and is spayed. Ginger is quite talkative so if you are looking for a companion to drive away the silence--this one's for you. She was a very young baby when her and her littermates were found. She is a smart little kitty and uses her litter box faithfully.
