that come under our care. We can also post lost/missing

Great Big THANK YOU! to Allie Thiesse from Yankton for her
help in raising money and taking donations for the Heartland Humane
Society in the Great Lemonade Brigade Fundraiser in
June. She raised over $85.oo in donations and pet supplies for
HHS.

have a great need to increase our foster family network. If
you have a place in your heart and your home to help in this way,
please consider becoming a foster home. Without a facility, we
rely completely on these wonderful families who open up their homes

MEETINGS
HHS
will now be holding open Board meetings instead of a regular monthly
membership meeting. There are also committee meetings that all
members and guests are welcome to attend. If you have a special area of
interest that you'd like to be involved in, please contact us and we
will direct you to the proper committee and keep you posted when those
meetings are to be held. We will keep Board meeting dates posted here,
and all are welcome to attend. If you have an issue to bring to the
Board for review please contact us ahead of time to get it put on the
agenda, or discuss it at the appropriate committee meeting, which will
then be reviewed at the Board meeting. The next meeting will be Monday
Aug 11, at 6:00pm at our office at 2900 E Hwy 50 in Yankton.

Sylvester is a very lovable cat who
is neutered and de-clawed and all vaccinations up to date. He
can be very playful and he loves attention.
